Tonight the cubs showed off the skills they have developed over the past few weeks with hammers and screwdrivers. Between them, they worked in small teams and built 7 bird boxes! Mistakes were made, but everyone got there in the end.

These will look great in the trees around the scout hut, hopefully attracting wildlife.

Some great signatures and doodles on the back of the bird boxes. I don’t think we will forget whose is whose!
