Tonight, the Cubs practised their whittling skills. They explored the compound and found suitable sticks, then returned to the hall to try and whittle a face. This was a real test for the Cubs as they had to listen very carefully to their safety instructions.

The Leaders were very impressed with how well they did with this activity, particularly how carefully they took on board all of the safety directions.

Using this stance, and cutting away from the body, ensure that the knife is well away from the Cubs.
